Are We Attracting Spirits

I have read and watched a lot of Hick's books and totally believe...it is faith...where I am concerned.. How and what are the spirits that are here on earth with us and our small children and my 33year old daughter can see and sense in our homes....are we attracting them somehow?

We do not know them, they make us feel uncomfortable and the small children see them in the yard and in the house.

Can Abraham tell me why they are here and what they want with us and can we get rid of them?

Everybody in my daughters house is having some kind of emotional problem, trouble sleeping and the house seems to be closing in..

Can Abraham tell us what to do? Why are they here?

I believe that source is good but these things are not good and they are always having bad dreams...Please help....

To begin with, I cannot answer for answer for Abraham, as I am not connected to the Abraham-Hicks organisation. However I have the utmost respect for Esther and Jerry, and I am a keen student of the teachings of Abraham.

Source or non-physical energy can manifest in many ways, it is manifested in our feelings, and our intuition, for some it is manifested in blocks of thought, as indeed it is in the case of Esther Hicks, and for some, as it is in the case of your family, it is manifested in vision and sight.

We have many names for these visions, but in the main we call them ghosts.

And many of us have some preconceived idea of what a ghost is. Just take a look at the Wikipedia description of a ghost:

“A ghost has been defined as the disembodied spirit or soul of a deceased person, although in popular usage the term refers only to the apparition of such a person.

Often described as immaterial and partly transparent, ghosts are reported to haunt particular locations or people that they were associated with in life or at time of death.

Phantom armies, ghost animals, ghost trains and phantom ships have also been reported.

Ghosts or similar paranormal entities appear in film, theatre, literature, myths, legends, and some religions.”

If you were to think about any use of paranormal activity in film and literature, there are not many comforting ghost stories, in fact quite the opposite. The term ghost leaves us feeling uneasy, chilled and fearful.

The majority of us have no idea, no experience and absolutely no reason to fear seeing a ghost, yet to many of us, the thought of seeing such a spirit would make us feel uncomfortable and nervous.

So it is not surprising that you are uncomfortable with these visions, and they have become a source of worry and anxiety.

So are they evil?

The Source of all is light, is good and the idea of an evil or a devil power goes against all ideas of God, of One.

How can everything be of One, First Cause? And how could God be in Me, in You and in everyone and everything, and still be One God?

Everything we know will always go back to one. Of Man, if we could trace our ancestors back through All Intelligent Man, we would find the First, the One who said “I AM”. All life on earth goes back to the First.

The First Cause of everything must then be One. If God created everything, God or Life, as First Cause can only be One. Life cannot be divided by itself, there can only be No Life or Life, there cannot be Half a Life.

Evil, or the devil cannot exist, it is of mans creation to control the masses, it is a weak excuse for a weak mind.

The idea of hell controls the congregation, the fear of judgement controls the actions and the representation of the devil controls the mind. The idea of an evil person releases our minds to be able to be unforgiving, accusing and condemning, which offers us no growth at all.

So are these visions evil?

No they cannot be, but if you have the thought that they are evil, which is not surprising if you have any preconceived negative ideas of ghosts, they can be manifested in that way to you.

You see it is not the visions that are causing you anxiety, it is the idea of what these spirits are, and what they will do that is causing you anxiety. It is your thought that is manifesting interpretation of their appearance, and your interpretation of their intentions and vibrations.

If they had the ability, intention and willingness to cause you any harm, I’m sure that you would have had that experience by now.

So what to do?

I would strongly recommend that you start to meditate. Meditation will bring you a sense of knowing, a sense of well-being and a sense of peacefulness.

By meditating you will begin to see these visions for what they are, you will be able to overcome your worries and fears and project your self-assured nature of goodness, faith and trust, so that these visions will manifest to you in their true nature.
