Attracting Good Health

I have always been a positive person but knew I needed to know more of the Law of Attraction to get what I desire. Now, I know I need to change how to do things. I have been diagnosed and treated for Lymphoma and I am pretty optimistic about how things are going. However, I need to learn how to attract good health and everything else from here on.


I am a psychologist so teach people how to be positive and find peace of mind. I know there is so much more I need to learn.

Is there is something that I should start on first such as health. I know that the Law of Attraction is applied to anything and everything, I just wondered if there is something particular on health.

When it comes to health, it seems that good health or poor health doesn’t necessarily follow hard and fast rules.

Of course, if you eat too much, drink too much and smoke too much, the chances are, you will suffer from the effects of partaking in these extremes, but there is no actual rule.

No one can argue that smoking does not cause cancer, but what is the rule? As it does not follow that if you smoke, or if you smoke a certain amount, you will get cancer.

It goes without saying that a healthy diet, little or no alcohol and no tobacco will definitely lead to body with fewer poisons and toxins, but as not all over eaters, drinkers and smokers will die of there over indulgencies, there must be something more to health and disease that just the way you treat your body. And that can only be, the way we treat your mind.

As Harvard Health Publications reports, “there's growing evidence of mutual influence between emotions and physical functioning. Yet anxiety often goes unidentified as a source of other disorders, such as substance abuse or physical addiction, that can result from attempts to quell feelings of anxiety. And it's often overlooked in the myriad symptoms of chronic conditions like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or migraine headache.”

They suggest that, “Anxiety also plays a role in somatoform disorders, which are characterized by physical symptoms such as pain, nausea, weakness, or dizziness that have no apparent physical cause. Somatoform disorders include hypochondriasis, body dysmorphic disorder, pain disorder, and conversion disorder.”

And that there is a link between emotion and illnesses such as, “heart disease, chronic respiratory disorders, and gastrointestinal conditions.”

According to the reports author, “When people with these disorders have untreated anxiety, the disease itself is more difficult to treat, their physical symptoms often become worse, and in some cases they die sooner.”

Most people can probably appreciate the result of worry and its connection to illnesses, but it does seem quite surprising that a link to bacterial and viral infection has also been found.

It has been suggested in Lifescript that, “stress can also disable the body’s immune system to make you more susceptible to germs in the environment.”

I wonder if this explains why people catch a cold when they don’t dress for winter, it’s not the chill, it’s the worry about being chilled?

When it comes to using the Law of Attraction to ‘attract’ health, my main concern would be, that to want something you would have to believe that you did not already have it.

Obviously! I hear many people say, but this is really quite an important part of consciously applying the Law of Attraction.

Important because as you attempt to attract something you do not have, it is so easy to slip back into the feelings of being without, and as the Law of Attraction responds to our focused thoughts and emotions, you simply end up realigning to a realty that is lacks your desires.

Visualization is the most common way to apply the Law of Attraction, and if you do not have a thing, most people tend to visualize the remedy for this lack.

If for example, you are suffering from poor health, it seems fitting that you visualize good health as a remedy for your suffering, and the poorer the health, the healthier the visualized reality tends to be.

But if we accept that mind caused this illness in the first place, visualizing you desire is in no way readjusting the cause of your ailment.

In fact, it does quite the opposite, as your visualization only underlines what is missing, as you quickly notice, feel and think about the unwanted poor health experience you are getting.

This stresses the importance of coming to terms with where they are now, before trying to change what you have, and is the reason I wrote the Unlock The Power WorkBook, as it teaches people to shine a new light on their current circumstances.

The essence of this workbook is that it teaches you to focus on the best of now, and in doing so, enables you to remove fear and worry and allow yourself to align to a more contented existence, so that you can effortlessly manifest the things you desire.

I guess that you really have to take a bit of your own medicine as you say you, “teach people how to be positive and find peace of mind” which is the first step to changing any existence.
