How Do You Get The Law of Attraction To Work

I am a 22 year old girl who has recently broke up with her boyfriend.. I currently live in London but I am not completely happy.. I have read The Secret several times and watched the movie like 5 times, and I also read the stories as much as I can. But when it comes to applying the rules of the Law of Attraction to my own life, I just can't seem to do it..
I think I did manage it back in October, when I was asking for a boyfriend and he really had all the qualities I had asked and hoped for, but I guess I just went wrong somewhere since we broke up.. (and no I am not trying to get back with him but my only dream since I was younger has been to be in a steady long relationship)..
I am the type of girl who just wants to find the love of my life and then just get married happily ever after, I don't want to have several different guys in my life before finding the one..
I want to find the one right now and hopefully get married in 2 or 3 years.. Well I still haven't asked my question…
When I have all the stress from work, being tired all the time, and worse being away from my family and friends in a country all by myself, how can I actually be happy and put my focus onto actually feeling the happiness and love around me?
It just feels so hard to do that, when in reality I know that the one I love is still not in my life... I really want to fall in love and be loved so much, I just feel lost..
Please help me and thank you already for all your help..

This is not an uncommon question, in fact, it is the question that most people have when trying to apply the Law of Attraction.
How can you think and feel in a way to match what you desire, when your reality does not represent what you want?
Isn’t it all to easy for me to sit here and say, “match the vibration of your desires, and your desires will manifest.” When, for so many people, the thought of thinking like they had their ideal, in a reality when they don’t, is just too difficult.
How can you think and feel love, when love is not your experience? How can you think and feel wealth, when you’re faced with poverty? How can you think and feel health, when you need to take your medication?
And if I could give you the definitive solution to do this, I would. But lets be honest, when we have lived a life, never being taught the importance of our thoughts, and the most of us let our minds run out of control. Suggesting that you can control the way you think and feel, seems an outrageous idea.
So how do you get the Law of Attraction to work?
Well, the good news is, you don’t. You never have to get the Law of Attraction to work, because it is and always will be at work, and for as long as you think, the Law of Attraction aligns you to your thoughts.
If you look at your reality now, one of the most powerful things to ever know, is that you created it.
You created every experience you have ever had, and will have.
You have used this power to bring many things into your experience, and your life is evidence of the existence of the Law of Attraction, and a testament to your creative power.
You are a powerful creator.
Yes I know that there are things in your life that you may not want to experience, but take encouragement from the fact, that it is no more difficult to create the perfect life, than the not so perfect life, as it all starts from thought.
So if all creation starts from thought, and you are experiencing an unwanted reality, what have you been thinking?
You see, the Law of Attraction align to your reality, a match to your most focused thoughts and feelings.
In other words, if you spend time, or give attention to, any experience you are having now, the Law of Attraction aligns events and circumstances to give you a similar experience in the future.
You’ve heard the saying, “the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer.” And nothing could be truer, as the rich tend to give their attention to how much money they have, and the poor tend to give their attention to how much money they don’t have.
And, the Law of Attraction works as powerfully for both rich and poor, recreating the experiences in their realities, that match their most focused thoughts and feelings.
So I say again, what have you been thinking?
Do you try to apply the Law of Attraction and never think that you can do it?
Do you ever notice that you have not found someone to settle down with?
Do you ever comment about the stress from work?
Do you ever complain about being tired all the time?
Do you ever feel alone?
Now tell me this, does your reality match exactly, to the things you focus your thoughts and attention to?
You see, the Law of Attraction will align you to the experience you think about most, and the existence of these unwanted experiences, only go to show you that you have sponsored them through thought.
But this is nothing to get down about, this is fantastic news, it proves that you are a powerful creator, and the only thing you now need to understand is this…
How do you use your creative power to create your perfect reality?
Well if thought and attention about the unwanted parts of your reality, only serve to create more unwanted experiences, surely thoughts and attention to the wanted parts of your reality, can only serve to create more wanted experiences.
So what is it that is in your reality now, that is a wanted experience?
Invest in a notebook and write down every experience that you are having, that to you, feels good.
Call it, ‘The Things I Like About My Life’ and spend some time thinking about these things, every morning and every evening.
When more things you like happen, add them to your book.
Do this instead of visualizing, instead of goal setting, instead of anything else you have heard about how to apply the Law of Attraction. Leave all these things until your experience becomes a predominantly wanted experience.
Focus your thoughts and attention on the things that feel good now.
But this alone will not be enough to change your reality, as you will still be experiencing the things that are unwanted, so this is the key.
When you experience something that you regard as unwanted, do not spent any thought on noticing it, on commenting on it, on complaining about it, and on feeling it.
To begin with, this will be difficult for you to do, so as soon as you are aware that you are noticing, commenting, complaining and feeling about something unwanted, start to focus on ‘The Things I Like About My Life’.
This is one of the most powerful ways to change a reality, and in time, and with practise, you will definitely see the evidence of this wonderful creative power you have.
