I Finally Understand The Law of Attraction.

The first time I heard about the Law of Attraction I was shocked. It came to me from a movie called "The Secret", which was shown at my Physical Education class. As I had social problems, I was so ready to apply this law, but it wasn’t easy, here’s my story and the way that I finally understand the Law of Attraction.

At the time I had low self-esteem and I was deeply depressed, I was being bullied and distrusted authority, in desperation I kept watching the movie "The Secret" over and over and over. But without knowing how to apply the Law of Attraction correctly, I failed.

So I decided to research the Law of Attraction and read "The Law of Attraction" by Abraham-Hicks and "The Science of Success" by Wallace D. Wattles. However even after reading both of these books, I still felt discouraged and realised that I was still in the process learning.

I began to feel quite frustrated, and almost gave up trying.

I wondered when am I ever going to master this law and have the results that I am looking for?

The turning point came in June, I had spoken to one of my teachers about my trouble trying to apply the Law of Attraction, my teacher explained, “that I shouldn’t compare myself to others”, and that, “I have to always have goals, you can't just wish for success.”

After that conversation thing started to change, I felt a little bit more open to these ideas and more confident, at least I had told my story to someone and they understood me.

I also tried sharing the Law of Attraction with my Mom but like so many, she thinks that we can't get things easy, that we have to beat others, before they take what we want.

I think she thought I was going crazy.

I decided to study "The Science of Success" by Wallace Wattles again and finally, I understood it!

My problem was that I needed to follow my own dreams instead of others. I had become a slave to society and I decided to stop it, to end it now.

I started writing notes to myself on how to fix my problems.

I stopped feeling responsible for how other people feel.

I realized that it was not my job to make people happy, if they don't want to be happy.

And I learnt that I should follow my dreams, and do what I wanted to do.

No longer could anyone stop me from doing what I wanted, no one could breathe through me, they no longer had any power over my life.

I also learned, that you have to be specific in what you want, it is an exact equation. As Wallace Wattles says, “you can't multiply two by two and fail to get four.”

You also have to respect the choices of someone else, you can't manage someone else's life, only your own.

I’m happy for all the trouble I’ve been through, because now I manage my life completely. I have control over everything and I realize that, thanks to the Law of Attraction, I have a great advantage now.

I finally understand the Law of Attraction!!
