I Want To Be With My Ex-Boyfriend...

I am aware of the law of attraction, and have begun using the practices. I broke off a relationship with my boyfriend a few weeks ago, thinking it would be the best thing to do. It was against what my heart wanted, which was to be closer to him (Or rather against the Law of Attraction).

I told him why I did it, and asked him how he felt about me?

He said, “if you’re asking whether or not I love you and think about us, the answer is yes.”

Then I asked if he wanted to be in a relationship and he said, “no.”

He felt that he needed to get back on his own two feet before being able to give to the relationship. I sure got what I requested.

I understand that you cannot alter another’s state of being, that’s their experience. I really want to be with him. He has backed away from where we were before (After the break-up we were still close).

What do I need to look at that I am unaware of concerning this issue?

As you are aware, you cannot change or affect someone else’s reality by focusing on your desires, but it sounds to me that you are both really wanting the same thing.

It is so important for you to focus on where you are going, your most wanted reality and your most wanted experience and to stop looking back at where you have been, your mistakes and regrets.

This is also true for your boyfriend, to focus on his most wanted desires and to stop looking back at the pain and hurt that you have caused him.

Does your partner know about the Law of Attraction?

If not, maybe it would be a good idea to introduce him to these ideas, maybe give him a copy of The Secret or, another good introduction would be John Grays book How to Get What You Want and Want What You Have. Indeed. this would be a good read for you as well.

Obviously you have caused some pain to your boyfriend, and he will need to forgive you before he starts to build trust again, but forgiveness is such an important part of using the Law of Attraction for your benefit, as it closes doors behind you and allows you to open them in front of you.
