Law of Attraction And Using Affirmations
I wanted to ask you what affirmation you would use to build faith and embed it in the subconscious mind. Is there something on the website to help me with this? If not, can you provide me with an affirmation or phrase? Please advise. Thank you for your time.
What is faith? I would answer this by saying that faith and belief are pretty much the same thing, they are the evidence of things unseen, a state of mind, an unwavering thought.
So to develop faith you must develop an unwavering thought, and too develop unwavering thought you must practice thinking in that way, and just like any skill, repetition is the key.
Faith is therefore a thought that you keep thinking.
So to develop a belief about any subject, think in a way that supports that belief, and keep repeating that thought.
Charles Haanel suggests that the strongest affirmation you can use to strengthen one will is, "I can be what I will to be." He also suggests that the affirmation, "I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy," will bring about harmonious conditions. The reason for this is because the affirmation is in strict accordance with the Truth, and when truth appears every form of error or discord must necessarily disappear.
Although these are not affirmations that are specific for faith they will help you to feel harmony in you life and start develop the belief in yourself.
Joseph Murphy - The power of your subconscious mind suggests using this affirmation, "Divine order takes charge of my life today and every day. All things work together for good for me today. This is a new and wonderful day for me. There will never be another day like this one. I am divinely guided all day long and whatever I do, will prosper. Divine love surrounds me, enfolds me, and enwraps me. And I go forth in peace. Whenever my attention wanders away from which that is good or constructive it will immediately bring it back to the contemplation of that which is lovely and good report. I am a spiritual and mental magnet attracting to myself all things which bless and prosper me. I am going to be a wonderful success in all of my undertakings today. I am definitely going to be happy all day long."
I do think that if you read Think and Grow Rich you will start to uncover the formula, and as an affirmation for developing faith I would look no further than Hill's exercise on the matter. It's as follows...SELF-CONFIDENCE FORMULAFirst. I know that I have the ability to achieve the object
of my Definite Purpose in life, therefore, I DEMAND of myself
persistent, continuous action toward its attainment, and I here
and now promise to render such action.
Second. I realize the dominating thoughts of my mind will
eventually reproduce themselves in outward, physical action, and
gradually transform themselves into physical reality, therefore, I
will concentrate my thoughts for thirty minutes daily, upon the
task of thinking of the person I intend to become, thereby creating
in my mind a clear mental picture of that person.
Third. I know through the principle of auto-suggestion, any
desire that I persistently hold in my mind will eventually seek
expression through some practical means of attaining the object
back of it, therefore, I will devote ten minutes daily to demanding
of myself the development of SELF-CONFIDENCE.
Fourth. I have clearly written down a description of my
DEFINITE CHIEF AIM in life, and I will never stop trying, until I
shall have developed sufficient self-confidence for its attainment.
Fifth. I fully realize that no wealth or position can long
endure, unless built upon truth and justice, therefore, I will engage
in no transaction which does not benefit all whom it affects. I will
succeed by attracting to myself the forces I wish to use, and the
cooperation of other people. I will induce others to serve me,
because of my willingness to serve others. I will eliminate hatred,
envy, jealousy, selfishness, and cynicism, by developing love for all
humanity, because I know that a negative attitude toward others
can never bring me success. I will cause others to believe in me,
because I will believe in them, and in myself.
I will sign my name to this formula, commit it to memory,
and repeat it aloud once a day, with full FAITH that it will
gradually influence my THOUGHTS and ACTIONS so that I will
become a self-reliant, and successful person.
Or as a more general affirmation that can help you to move forwards would be, "I am breaking through old habits of behavior and moving on in my life."
Charles Haanel tells us to "Hold in mind the condition desired; affirm it as an already existing fact. This indicates the value of a powerful affirmation. By constant repetition it becomes a part of ourselves. We are actually changing ourselves; we are making ourselves what we want to be."
"When a thought of anger, jealousy, fear, or worry creeps in, just start your affirmation going. The way to fight darkness is with light — the way to fight cold is with heat — the way to overcome evil is with good. For myself, I never could find any help in denials. Affirm the good, and the bad will vanish."
I hope this helps you
