When trying out the Law of Attraction, what would be my first step to being happier following the Law of Attraction?

If you want to Master the Law of Attraction, the very first thing you must learn to do, is set goals.

Without firm, precise and definite goals in your life, you will never begin to harness this power, and here's why.

If you wish to attract anything into your life, you must learn to “live in the spirit” of the thing wanted.

The Law of Attraction teacher Charles Haanel, tells us to “Live the spirit of these things, until they become yours by right.” What he is saying here, is the true secret to Unlocking the Law of Attraction.

The expression, “you must hold it in your head, before you hold it in your hand,” sums up quite well, what Haanel means.

He is telling us to visualize our goals to harness the power of the Law of Attraction, and that to “live in the spirit” of a thing, is the true way of visualizing.

It was one of the greatest teachers of all, who told us, “What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” (Mark 11:24)

To put that in a more modern context, I would say, “Whatever things you wish to attract to your life, visualize yourself already experiencing these things, and the Law of Attraction will bring them to you.”

So, to get the things you want, you need to act as if you already have them, and to do that, you need to be very specific about the things you want.

Once you have set your goal, it is time to remove the negativity behind them.

What do I mean by the negativity behind your goals?

These are the negative ideas that you have around attaining anything in your life.

For instance, if you are trying to attract money, what are your true feelings towards having that money?

Do you deserve it?

Do you think it is possible?

Are you that lucky?

Do you truly believe?

If your goal is something other than money, follow the same questions to try and identify the negativity behind your desires.

Once you have identified the negative emotions surrounding your goal, use one of the following methods to remove this emotion.

EFT is an easy to use technique, that can be used to tackle emotional issues, physiological issues, limiting beliefs and health problems.

The next step would be to start to visualize your goal.

The secret of any visualization exercise is to concentrate your mind on a new reality, without thinking about your current circumstances.

A visualization exercise involves these simple steps;

Find a quiet room, somewhere where you can sit for 15 to 20 minutes without being disturbed.

Think of something, anything that brings you strong positive emotions of love, joy, or gratitude.

Once you are feeling relaxed and positive get into a comfortable position and relax your body.

Start to feel positive emotions that you have identified with your goal.

Re-live the experience of ‘having it now’ until you can feel the joy in your entire body with all your senses.

It is important to feel it, as this adds emphasis (and speed) to you manifesting your desires. Make sure all your senses are being used. What did it sound like, smell like and feel like.

Really get into the feeling and use this experience to its fullest.

Try to hear those ocean breezes, smell the scent of the pine trees, feel the touch of your fingers on the steering wheel of that car, taste that kiss, and see yourself enjoying your new car, house or relationship, etc.

When you are done, repeat your goal out load and write it down, Say this in a confident and commanding tone and expect it to happen.

Now go about your day and forget about the ‘how's.’ This is where you must ‘Let go and let God’ as the saying goes. This is the true Art of Allowing.

Remember this is the part where we often fail because we question or we keep noticing that we don’t have it yet.
