A common misconception is that you can use the Law of Attraction mend a broken relationship, past fixing, or attract a specific person as a partner.

If you have watched the film The Secret, you may remember a scene where a couple are continuously arguing.

The advice in the film was to picture your partner in the way you would most like to see them, and they would either become that to you, or you’d be kept apart. I think the term they used was, “You’ll zig, why they’ll zag.”

Many people have misunderstood the message here, thinking that they could manifest their wishes in the way they wanted, completely disregarding their partners thoughts or focus.

Here is the most common Law of Attraction relationship mistake.

Simply put, the Law of Attraction brings to you what you most strongly focus upon, whether wanted or unwanted.

The Law of Attraction also brings to your partner what they most strongly focus upon, whether wanted or unwanted.

It is therefore impossible to create an experience for another person, by only changing your focus.

Yes you can focus on your partner being everything you want them to be, and bringing you all the experiences you want to have, and the Law of Attraction will respond.

The Law of Attraction will give you everything you ask for, either by putting you in line with your partner, allowing you to experience this reality, or by putting you out of line with your partner, to experience this reality.

As the film says, “you will partner will become everything you focused on, or you’ll zig, why they’ll zag.”

By all means use the Law of Attraction to bring you the romantic experiences you desire, perhaps by using these Law of Attraction love exercises, or specifically designed Love Affirmations.

But, you have to let go and trust....

You have to stop worrying about the How’s and Why’s, and have faith that the universe sees things from a much bigger perspective than you do.
