He wrote several books focusing on abundance and the spiritual law of manifestation that were published in St. Louis by Psychology

Publishing and by his Master Key Institute in New York. Mr. Haanel put into books the ideas and methods he used to gain his success.

Besides The Master Key System, which he wrote in 1912, he also wrote Mental Chemistry and The New Psychology.

The Master Key System

The Master Key System is one of the finest studies in self-improvement, and higher consciousness ever written. Covering everything from how to get wealthy to how to get healthy, Rumour has it that Bill Gates discovered and read The Master Key System inspiring him to drop out of the University and pursue his dream of "a computer on every desktop."

James Allen

James Allen was a philosophical writer of British nationality, known for his inspirational books and poetry. His works have had a lasting influence on the New Thought Movement.

Born in Leicester, England, James was 15 when his father, a businessman, was robbed and murdered. He left school to work full-time in several British manufacturing firms to help support the family. Eventually he married and became an executive secretary for a large company. At age 38, inspired by the writings of Leo Tolstoy, he retired from employment and he and his wife, Lily L. Allen, moved to a small cottage in Ilfracombe, Devon, England to pursue a simple life of contemplation. There he wrote for nine years, producing 19 works. He also edited and published a magazine, 'The Light of Reason.'

James Allen's books illustrate the use of the power of thought to increase personal capabilities. Although he never achieved great fame or wealth, his works continue to influence people around the world.

As a Man Thinketh

Allen's most famous book, As a Man Thinketh, was published in 1902. It is now considered a classic self-help book. Its underlying premise is that noble thoughts make a noble person, while lowly thoughts make a miserable person. In short, you are what you think.

The Way of Peace

Spiritual meditation is the pathway to Divinity. It is the mystic ladder which reaches from earth to heaven, from error to Truth, from pain to peace. Every saint has climbed it; every sinner must sooner or later come to it, and every weary pilgrim that turns his back upon self and the world, and sets his face resolutely toward the Father's Home, must plant his feet upon its golden rounds.

Without its aid you cannot grow into the divine state, the divine likeness, the divine peace, and the fadeless glories and unpolluting joys of Truth will remain hidden from you.

Above Lifes Turmoil

We cannot alter external things, nor shape other people to our liking, nor mould the world to our wishes but we can alter internal things, - our desires, passions, thoughts, - we can shape our liking to other people, and we can mould the inner world of our own mind in accordance with wisdom, and so reconcile it to the outer world.

The turmoil of the world we cannot avoid, but the disturbances of mind we can overcome.

Byways To Blessedness

There is placed under the cool shade of a group of trees, a small wooden building called a "rest-house", where the weary traveler may rest a while, and allay his thirst and hunger by partaking of the food and water which the kindly inhabitants place there as a religious duty.

Along the great highway of life there are such resting places; away from the heat of passion and the dust of disappointment, under the cool and refreshing shade of lowly Wisdom, are the humble, unimposing "rest-houses" of peace, and the little, almost unnoticed, byways of blessedness, where alone the weary and footsore can find strength and healing.

The Path of Prosperity

I looked around upon the world, and saw that it was shadowed by sorrow and scorched by the fierce fires of suffering. And I looked for the cause. I looked around, but could not find it; I looked in books, but could not find it; I looked within, and found there both the cause and the self-made nature of that cause. I looked again, and deeper, and found the remedy.

Ernest Holmes

Ernest Holmes founded the International Religious Science movement, wrote "The Science of Mind" and numerous other books on metaphysics, and originated the international periodical Science of Mind magazine, which has been in continuous publication since 1927.

Holmes' Science of Mind teaching, recognized today as one of the leading viewpoints in modern metaphysics, is a spiritual philosophy that has brought to people around the world a working cosmology - a sense of their relationship to God and their place in the Universe - and a positive, supportive approach to daily living.

The Science of Mind

The Science of Mind was originally published in 1926 and has lain dormant in the back room of time. These lessons are an attempt to put into the spoken word and into print some of those great truths known to the enlightened of all ages.

To suppose that the Creative Intelligence of the world would create man in bondage and leave him bound would be to dishonor that Creative Power which we call God. On the other hand, to suppose that God could make man as an individual, without leaving him to discover himself, would be to suppose an impossibility.

Wallace Wattles

Wallace Wattles, was born in America in 1860, shortly before the civil war.

Having experienced much failure and poverty in his earlier life, Wallace studied various religious beliefs and philosophies and through his tireless examination and experimentation, claimed to have discovered the truth of the spiritual Law of Manifestation, and put them into practice in his own life.

He began to write books outlining these principles and practiced the technique of creative positive visualization.

The Science of Getting Rich is one of the first writings Law of Attraction books of its kind.

Wallace saw himself as a successful writer, a personality of power, an advancing man, and he began to work toward the realization of this vision, turning his life from poverty and failure by successfully attracting abundance and prosperity and began to write books to share these principles of the laws of attraction with the world.

The Science of Getting Rich

There is a Science of getting rich, and it is an exact science, like algebra or arithmetic. There are certain laws which govern the process of acquiring riches; once these laws are learned and obeyed by any man, he will get rich with mathematical certainty.

The Science of Being Well

The second of a series, intended solely for those who want health.

As its title asserts, the book deals with science, not speculation. The monistic theory of the universe, the theory that matter, mind, consciousness, and life are all manifestations of One Substance is now accepted by most thinkers, and if you accept this theory, you cannot deny the logical conclusions you will find here.

The Science of Being Great

THERE is a Principle of Power in every person. By the intelligent use and direction of this principle, man can develop his own mental faculties. Man has an inherent power by which he may grow in whatsoever direction he pleases, and there does not appear to be any limit to the possibilities of his growth.
