The Law of Attraction And Being Happily Single But Wanting A Relationship

First off wanted to say thank you for all the helpful information you've given me through your website. This is very inspirational and motivating and I'm learning so much!

Here is my question: I have been single for almost a year now. It's taken me a while to get to the place that I'm at today but, I'm happy to say that I've learned to enjoy being single and I've really been focusing on loving myself, flaws and all.

Even though I enjoy being single, I would like to eventually attract a relationship.

How do I continue to put out vibrations that I'm content and happy being single, but at the same time I would like to attract a relationship? Since you say like attracts like, if I'm putting out in the universe that I enjoy being single, isn't that what I will continue to attract?

To be honest, I think that this puts you in a far stronger position than someone who is unhappy being single, and desperately trying to attract a relationship.

For many, when they first hear about the Law of Attraction, they look at their lives, find the things about their experiences that they are most unhappy with, and go head first into trying to change those unwanted experiences.

But because these unwanted experiences play such a denying part of their happiness, and they really feel the effect of the unwanted, trying to match your thought to the thought as if their wanted experience existed instead, is very difficult, if not impossible to do.

How can you think like you have what you desire, when the lack of your desire leaves you
with so many negative thoughts and emotions.

To make this worse, if someone was in this position, most of the ways that they are told to apply the Law of Attraction, will often work against them, as they really feel the lack of the things they want most.

If I was introducing the Law of Attraction to someone, and teaching them the best way of applying this Law, the very first step I would take, would be a step to accept and love, where you are now.

If you accept and love where you are now, changing your direction becomes easy and natural, as you go from one good experience to the next.

And as for confusing the Law of Attraction, it is not possible, after all, you know what it is you want, and if you know, it is a part of you, and being a part of you, makes it a part of what you are aligned to.

The difference for you is that you will not get drawn into the thoughts and feelings of a lack of your desire, because for now, the lack is only a preparation for the having of it.

Gratitude is one of the biggest tools to applying this Law, and if you can look with ease at your now experience, and express with honesty the gratitude you feel, nothing unwanted can manifest itself to you.
