I have always thought that the SGR program seems to miss the whole point of what it is trying to do. It’s not that I don’t like the program, in fact, quite the opposite. I have the utmost respect for Bob Proctor, Jack Canfield and Michael Beckwith, (the creators of this program), but when they initially set up this Law of Attraction learning system, they seem to have completely missed the point.
Here’s what I mean… As the name implies, the program was set up as a Law of Attraction tool to manifest more wealth. The whole system is designed to master the Law of Attraction to provide financial abundance. Where as I do not have a problem in using the Law of Attraction to attract abundance, it did seem logical that anyone who was interesting in learning these valuable tools, must be faced with a reality of which there was no abundance. It even seemed that the creators of this Law of Attraction program were aware of this when they first set up the program, as you can see if you read the Science of Getting Rich Program website. Here’s a quote from the website which explains their thinking behind the program…
Again I stress, it’s not that I have a problem with the Science of Getting Rich program, or with the promises they make, as they are certainly doable. My problem is this…. How can they write, “You may be the poorest person on the continent and be deeply in debt, but I promise you that if you do certain things in the exact certain way this man has done, you too will get rich,” and then expect the ‘poorest person on the continent’ to find $2,000 dollars to discover this information they obviously need so much? It seems that the Science of Getting Rich program was set up to help a section of society who need this information, and then just simply priced them right out of the market. At least, it was until now. Have they seen the light, have they come back down to earth with a bang, or has a shake up in the world economy shaken them a bit to realise what an opportunity they were missing? For whatever reason it seems that Bob Proctor, Jack Canfield and Michael Beckwith have seen the irony of this fantastic program they were offering. A system that helped the right people, if only the right people could see it. They realised that if they produced the Science of Getting Rich program digitally, and through away the fancy leather binders, CD’s and notebooks, they could slash the price by $1,800 dollars! But then again, to cut $1,800 dollars off the price of a product does produce another sort of problem.
That is, if the price has been cut by so much, has this damaged the effectiveness of the Science of Getting Rich program itself? In my opinion it hasn’t. You see, this used to be a physical product that you received through the post, a fancy ‘professional’ leather briefcase with Bob Proctors own seminar notes, an actual copy of the Wallace’s original book, and 17 physical CDs. It even came with an MP3 player uploaded with all the lessons. But now, you get the exact information in eBooks and MP3 files, all available to download to your computer laptop and iPod players. Secondly, the original program used to come with a ticket to a live seminar with Bob Proctor, something that he his no longer doing, and something that I am sure not everybody took advantage of. But to be honest, moving this from a physical, hold in your hand product, to a digital delivered program, and making this huge drop in price is still going to have people wondering, “I am getting the full package here?” I think that this is a question that Bob and the team were very aware of when they took this decision, and on the SGR Program website, they have gone to great lengths to ensure that you are aware, that this drop in price does not represent a drop in quality, (having been given the privilege to review both programs, this is something that I can confirm). However, the perception of a drop of price equalling a drop of quality, is something that obviously bothers Bob. This is probably why he has taken the unusual step of ‘adding more value’. Basically, because of the misunderstanding that such a huge drop in price may cause, Bob Proctor has made sure you get more for your money. In addition to the original full digitally delivered Science of Getting Rich program, Bob Proctor is now holding weekly The Science of Getting Rich Coaching Calls. With this new approach to the program, you will be able to call into your ongoing 30-minute weekly coaching call from the convenience of your home. And going from the sublime to the ridiculous, Bob has also created an Online Learning System and an Active Learning Community for you to participate in. To sum up, the Science of Getting Rich Program , now hits the spot. Originally an overpriced, over delivered system, that worked, but fell out of reach for the people who could have benefited the most, (sorry Bob, but that’s how I saw it). Now… Modern, slick, desirable and affordable.
