Using The Law of Attraction To Deal With Pain

I really need your help at the moment with a health problem. About 2 months ago I developed pain in my feet which made it difficult for me to walk & stand on my feet for long.


This was unfortunate as I must stand on my feet all day in my job, and I had to take some time off & try & keep off my feet as much as possible. The pain has improved from when it first hit me, but I still find it difficult to go to work & stand on my feet all day.

I have had scans done which all come out clear & have seen 2 podiatrists who are not sure what else to suggest to me.

This has put me under a lot of stress as I'm not sure what is causing my problem nor what to do about it. Also there is a fear that I may not be able to go back to work & may have to search for a new seated job.

Is there anything I could do to heal myself of this problem & get my feet back?

Should I visualize my feet being normal & healthy?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Our reality is the result of our thoughts. That is, what we think and feel most, the corresponding reality shall be aligned to us in order for us to continue to think and feel this way.

So if we are experiencing a reality that is unwanted there must be a specific thought, or a certain way of thinking that has aligned this unwanted experience to us.

I am not suggesting that you thought specifically about this pain, but rather that you have had some discord or worry that you have been thinking about that has manifested itself as the pain you are feeling.

The trouble with this sort of manifestation is that as it has become a part of your reality, unsurprisingly you spend a lot of time thinking about it, making it very difficult to get rid of.

You have probably heard the expression, “What you resist, persists.” And when it comes to health and well being, this phrase seems to apply more accurately than any other. When we are unwell it seems quite natural to try and resist any pain or discomfort we might find ourselves in, and of course, as we try to resist our illnesses it is hardly surprising that they seem to grip more and more tightly to us.

So how would I suggest that you use the Law of Attraction to rid yourself of this unwanted and painful reality?

To change any reality the very first step that anyone should take is to embrace it, regardless of how unwanted it actually is. I know that seems like a backward step to manifesting your desires, after all aren’t we always told to visualize and imagine our most wanted reality, not embrace the things we do not like?

So…

To change to a reality of abundance you must first embrace the lack of money you currently experience.

To change to a reality of romance you must first embrace the lack love you currently experience.

To change to a reality of good health and well being you must first embrace the pain and sickness you currently experience.

So why would you embrace something that is unwanted when what you are attempting to do is discard it?

Because when you are faced with an experience that is wholly unwanted and disliked, unsurprisingly people spend a lot of time thinking about this experience and try to imagine a reality that is totally different.

But as they experience what they don’t want, and imagine what they do want, the distance between today’s reality and tomorrow’s desires feel so far apart.

In fact by visualizing an experience that is so far away from what is your now reality, especially when your happiness is dependant on this change, all you are doing is ‘feeling the difference’ between an unwanted reality and a wanted one, and as our emotions are powerful practiced thought, the Law of Attraction aligns to you a reality in which you can continue to ‘feel this difference’.

In other words, as we focus upon the experience we desperately want, we do not feel the existence of these things, we feel the lack of them, and as we think and feel this lack the Law of Attraction aligns us to experiences that help us to continue to think and feel this way.

In your case, if you try visualizing a time when you have no pain, each time you feel this pain, a pain free existence will feel so far away from what is your now reality, especially as your emotional release is so dependant on this change. All you will be doing ‘feeling the difference’ between unwanted pain and a pain free existence, and as your emotions are powerful practiced thought, the Law of Attraction will aligns to you a reality in which you can continue to ‘feel this difference’.

As a first step, embrace the pain you are experiencing.

To do this try to identify all the positives that have come from this experience. I know that it will not be easy, but some things have happened in your life that, because of the pain you have been feeling, you have been able to see these events in a different light.

Then, write down what you are grateful for because of this experience.

Here are some ideas of what could these thoughts be...

  • Family and friends support./li>
  • Work and employers flexibility.
  • Medical and doctors assistance.
  • Learning about the Law of Attraction.
  • Looking at alternative medicines and treatments.
  • Opening your mind.
  • Realizing that you can heal.
  • Appreciating your body.
  • Not taking life for granted.
  • Putting things into perspective.

Try not to condemn your reality, even if this reality is unwanted, as it is through this focus of condemnation that future realties shall align to you, and have no doubt that these future experiences will ask for your condemnation too.

Instead of condemning this unwanted experience, replace these thoughts with and acknowledgment of the pain, followed with a thought of gratitude for what this experience has brought you.

For example when you feel pain and you feel negative about this situation express a statement similar to the following…

“Although my feet are painful, I am glad of this experience as it has helped my to recognize the support I have from my friends and family.”

Or…. “Regardless of this pain I am feeling, I am grateful that I can still appreciate my wonderful body.”

Once you have got into the habit of feeling grateful, write a list of things you will look forward to when this pain has left you. Make this list simple things that you will do when you are fit and well again.

Here are some ideas of what could these things could be...

  • Putting shoes on and wearing them.
  • Getting out of bed.
  • Standing in the shower.
  • Going to work.
  • Walking with your family.
  • Doing the weekly shop.

Then, as you feel negativity towards your pain, replace these thoughts with a thought of gratitude for what this experience has brought you, and add to this thought something that you will look forward to doing as soon as you are fit and well again.

Here an example of something you could express when you feel like cursing your feet and the pain they’re causing you.

“Although my feet are painful, I am glad of this experience as it has helped my to recognize the support I have from my friends and family, and it will be nice when we can spend time walking together.”

Or…. “Regardless of this pain I am feeling, I am grateful that I can still appreciate my wonderful body and I am looking forward to getting out of bed and wearing my favorite shoes.”
