Winning The Lotto

I want to win the lotto... I listen to a lot of audiotapes from the teaching of Abraham by Ester and Jerry Hicks and authors like Wayne Dyer, they help me to boost my confidence levels and have brought me many things, but the lottery I haven’t managed to manifest yet.

Please help me to materialize that dream because I know that I am doing everything right.

I would appreciate any advice about this topic.

Can you really win the lotto using the Law of Attraction?

If we are to believe that the Law of Attraction gives you everything you focus on, (not want), then I suppose, winning the lotto using the Law of Attraction should be possible, shouldn’t it?

But to really answer this, we need to dismantle how the Law of Attraction works.

It has been written in a number of ways, but simply put, to use the Law of Attraction to your advantage you follow 3 simple steps.

Firstly you must Ask, then you must Believe and finally you Receive.

There we are, simple isn’t it, ask to win the lotto, have faith that you are going to win, and pop out on Monday morning to collect your winnings..... Great :-)

Oh, I wish it was that simple...

Let’s break the process down and look at each step.

To Ask

What could be easier?

But I don’t just mean wishful thinking, or saying “I’m going to win the lotto today,” and popping out to buy you’re ticket.

Asking means being accurate and specific, it means stated the amount and by when you are going to win.

But asking is more than just submitting a request, you will need to visualize or meditate on your request, but don’t think of this as some Eastern mumbo jumbo, or some New Age idea, if you think of asking as prayer, you’ll be on the right track.

In fact it was Jesus who told us in the book of Mark, “Whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

To Believe

Believing is one of the hardest principles to get hold of, not to doubt in any way whatsoever, as doubt blocks

When we look at the possibility of Attracting the winning lotto numbers, in principal that’s fine, but can you submit you’re numbers and without any shadow of doubt know, hand on heart, that you have the winning ticket? Or are you just hoping?

If you could jump into a time machine, bring back next weeks papers and know, without any shadow of doubt, that you were going to win X million dollars on Saturday, what would you be doing right now?

You’d probably be spending what money you had now, without a care in the world.

Maybe you would have left your job, you’d be looking at brochures for holidays, cars and boats. You’d be making plans, dreaming of all you’ll have, you would be looking forward, you’d be hopeful, happy, care free and excited.

Can you see the difference between believing and hoping?

Now I’m not suggesting that you hand in your notice at work, or start living beyond your means, but if we take a look again at the quote from Jesus you’ll start to get the picture.

“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

The word, “receive” comes from the Greek word, Lambano, which means “to receive now.” The word "Have" comes from, Esomal, which means “to possess later.”

In other words, when we Ask we must prey, visualize or meditate and Believe or Imagine that the things that we want, we already have, and eventually they will become ours.

To Receive

Now that must be simple?

Err, well, not really.....

Receiving isn’t just about collecting your things, it’s about having gratitude and not disappointment, even when you don’t get what you’ve focused on. Seems odd, doesn’t it?

Let me borrow your time machine to show you want I mean.

After I visited the future I brought back a clipping from a newspaper.

The clipping had your picture in it with the headline “These Lucky Winner Have Scooped This Years Highest Jackpot” I can see you holding the multi-million dollar cheque, and they’ve published the winning numbers, the trouble is, there’s no date, all I know is it’s this year.

OK, you now know that you are going to win this year and much like before, you start to look forward and make plans, making sure that each week you submit your numbers.

How will you feel, as week after week these numbers don’t come up?

You’re not going to be disappointed, as you know you’re going to win, in fact, as each week goes by you will become more and more excited as your winning day is one week nearer.

Compare that to the feelings of disappointment you get now when you’re numbers don’t come up.

Will It Work?

Good question, however, this is a very simplistic answer to a very complex question.

You see this is only part of the equation, the other part is your state of mind, your belief system and your feelings about money.

Do you think about money in a positive or negative way?

Just check your bank balance, it will give you a clue....

Everything you have (or don’t have) is down to your previous thought, you are today, what you thought about yesterday. So if you don’t have everything you desire, you need to change the way you’re thinking.

If you change the way you think about money, you will change what you have, you will become tomorrow what you think about today.

So, can you win the lotto using the Law of Attraction?

Emphatically yes... As long as your thought processes match the result, but...... and this is the big but...... When your thought processes match the result, you wont need to, as you’ll have everything you desire.
